Recruitment, Selection and Interviewing
Aims
This workshop is for anyone required to take part in recruitment and selection and interviews. The focus is on the recruitment and selection process and the interview itself using techniques and behaviours necessary for success.
Learning Objectives
On completion of the workshop delegates will be able to:
- State and understand the key stages in the recruitment and selection process
- Understand the legal aspects of recruitment
- Carry out a simple job analysis
- Write a job description and person specification
- Prepare a short list of candidates
- List types of useful interview questions and give examples
- Describe and demonstrate good interviewer behaviour
